This luxury holiday villas Tuscany has recently been subjected to a ‘no expenses spared’ restoration (completed May 2007) of the most exacting standards using original & antique materials – every ceiling is beamed and has the original hand-made pianelle tiles. There are cut stone door and window surrounds throughout, and all the original terracotta floor tiles have been re-laid. All the rooms have high ceilings and the generously sized double bedrooms are en-suite. The house has its own 12x6m pool. The house is over 250sqm (2690 square feet).
The lounge at the farmhouse was furnished with new furniture in May 2007 and consists of: two 3 seater sofas, two single tub chairs and a couple of coffee tables. There is a flat screen television linked to a DVD player and a 2.4m satellite dish which picks up many English channels from the UK during the day. A selection of films on DVD are also available for free loan.
The well equipped kitchen of this luxury Tuscany vacation rental was fitted in 2007. The large range style cooker has an electric oven and five burner gas hob with stainless steel extractor canopy above. The work surface is made from hand honed travertine and the units are chestnut. There is an integrated dishwasher and washing machine as well as fridge/freezer.
The dining table and chairs are made from a hardwood and seat 10/12 people. The chinaware is cream and there is a good selection of wine and drinking glasses. Many of the mugs and bowls are made by Sarah in her pottery workshop located on the estate.
The large master bedroom is situated on the ground floor, facing south looking over the terrace and swimming pool.
There is a large restored antique double bed with a new mattress and base and bedside cabinets with lights either side. There is also a large antique wardrobe and chest of drawers with mirror above.

There is a large antique Tuscan wardrobe with drawers under and some single chairs for added comfort.
Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a large bath, wc, bidet and wash-hand basin.
The swimming pool is 12m x 6m plus roman steps at the house end. This is the second pool we have installed, as the first one installed in 2006 was not made to our usual high standards. The liner is yellow, which turns a translucent light blue with the water added. The pool is cleaned each day by a robot, and maintained to the highest of standards. There are several wooden sun loungers and sun umbrellas to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Outside the front door of the house, there is a large table with chairs for alfresco dining for all the guests and a large BBQ. The view to the east looks over the lake and to the south and west, the undulating Tuscan hills. The pool faces south and catches the sun all day.
